BMW Canada gets Sirius

SIRIUS Canada and BMW Canada today announced a long term exclusive agreement that will make Sirius satellite radio receivers a factory and dealer option for BMW vehicles sold in Canada.

Starting in fall 2006, Sirius will be available in select Canadian BMW models bundled with a subscription to the satellite radio service. By 2007, all BMW models will be Sirius satellite-ready.

I hope that radio is a stand-alone option as I refuse to buy anything that has a downstream monthly charge asssociated with it.
