Is it just me or does that look more like an Elantra wagon? Neither the Sonata sedan nor the hybrid has that face..

Considering everyone else is trying to bail out of wagons I love it. Although it must be Honda fanboy day here again as everyone saying something good about Hyundai is being deboosted at a high rate.

Either way I'm a wagon/hatch fan at heart and seeing companies like Volvo who can't even offer the V50R in a manual, and the fact that they are killing not just the V70 but also the V50 really breaks me heart. This is a very nice looking wagon and I bet you get better mileage, more cargo room, etc. than you can in some lumpy SUV that is great for catching cross wind on the highway.

This is the Sonata that I have been waiting for! I'll be first in line to purchase one when it arrives in the States. I have a 2006 Sonata Limited which I have been extremely satisfied with, but I have a problem getting my dogs, into the back seat. I can squeeze them in for short runs, but long trips are a big problem. SUVs don't work because of the difficulty of getting two Great Danes up inside. Plus the room in the size I would be interested in isn't great. I hate minivans and gas mileage is a consideration. The i40 would solve my quandry to the "T". So-o-o Hyundai, don't even think twice about selling this car in the states. It will go like hotcakes. Jimjule
