A lighter Z2 with such a fun engine would be very welcomed.

I think the audi 2.0T is grossly overrated. I testdrove it (with DSG) and came away disappointed. I wanted to buy that car, but the engine let it down.

If BMW is replacing the _28 engines with a turbo 4, you can bet its going to be less laggy and more torquey than the audi 2.0T.

I'll never ever buy a 4-cyl BMW. A crappy 4-cyl is hardly The Ultimate Driving Machine. Have we already forgotten the 318i? Been there, done that, hated it.

These cars will be spurred, shunned, and universally hated to the extent that they will destroy BMW's reputation. It's all downhill from here for BMW.
