BMW M Performance exhaust now available for the M3
BMW has recently introduced a new M Performance exhaust system designed to be an accessory for the BMW M3 Coupe, Sedan and Convertible. This new exhaust system was created with the racetrack and the street in mind. In fact, it was made from an extremely heat-resistant and lightweight chrome-nickel alloy called Inconel. This flow optimized exhaust system lessens exhaust backpressure and permits the M3’s 414hp V8 engine to deliver a more powerful sound.

Now It sounds like an AMG. Honestly previous sound likes me more than this, however if the power gain is like 30 hp , this could be a good add on for this baby.

This is constructed from Inconel. At $4374, it is a good price. The aftermarket is much more for this material. The sound clip does not sound that much better though. Save some weight on an already heavy ride.

Does anyone know what the HP gain is?

I think it looks really good and sounds great on the video. But I want to hear it in person before I would rule it in or out. I had Magna exhaust on my E46 and it was very nice, had the perfect compromise on a deeper sound and a higher rpm rasp.
