VIDEO: The 2012 Nissan GT-R Gets Seen In A Whole New Way
One thing that everyone should know about the automotive industry right now: everyone is fighting to make a sale. Competition is fiercer than ever and products are becoming safer, smarter and priced more aggressively in order to capture your attention.

So although the 2012 Nissan GT-R has earned its own spot in the high-performance category, there are some folks who will never give it the proper nod it deserves. Nissan made a helluva product, it's a shame some refuse to give credit where it's due.

Well, in order to change that, an advertising agency decided to make sure that certain buyers would definitely SEE the new GT-R.

Not sure what I am talking about? Watch the clip down below...

Ad agency TBWA, Düsseldorf undertook a campaign on behalf of Nissan Germany to increase the awareness concerning the Japanese sports car and to encourage more test drives of the new 2012 Nissan GT-R...

Why bother?
Porsche drivers are no ordinary drivers esp the 911 GT3/GT2 or the Turbo. I believe those who prefer the sole performance spectrum of these cars will appreciate the differences between the two.

Porsche – There is No Substitute

I guess Turbospyder missed the point again, this was not the 2012 GT-R. But then again, his selective copying and pasting is shining through right now. I really wonder what Nissan could do if they evened the playing field with a more expensive GT-R.

Last time I checked Nurburgring was not a straight line.

If the base brand new 2012 Nissan GT-R can hit 0-60 in 2.8 - 2.9s, can you imagine what the Nissan GT-R Spec-V can do in 0-60 and 1/4 miles run and around the track. This is insane performance for the price it asking for.

Yeah...yeah.... I know it still a Nissan but it better than a VV Bettle anyway I mean Porsche, just kidding. But seriously I have respect for both Porsche 911 Turbo/Turbo S and the Nissan GT-R. You got to give credit where credit is due.

until the lawsuit in small claims court against Nissan and TBWA for having your door taken off, when you rush out of your car to take the offending ad off your windshield without looking for traffic behind

Sportyturbo, how about this one?

From 1:25 onwards. Amazing how you selectively chose the black PDK (which incidentally was supplied by Porsche), check with M5board.com to confirm this. Also, this is not the 2012 GT-R.

Have to admit, the GTR would make a real nice winter beater, but when the snow melts, there is no substitute

Horst von Saurma of SportAuto (German publication) recorded a 7:38 on the Ring with the 2009 GTR.

Check on the right hand side about half-way down of jpg of track times SportAuto recorded for Scuderia, 911 GT3, and 911 Turbo.

Not only is the GTR faster than those lighter cars but it shows that the 7:26 set by Suzuki (Nissan's test driver who is a former F1 driver and part of GTR's development) is possible.

I am not looking for a car that goes from 0-60 in under 3 second, at least not me when I am looking at 100k cars atm. Porsche 911 FTW!
