Toyota To Announce Management Vision Strategy On March 9th
Toyota Motor Corp. President Akio Toyoda will announce on March 9 management's vision for where the world's top automaker is headed over the next decade as it turns a corner on its worst ever safety crisis.

Toyota officials said they could not provide any details on the so-called Toyota Global Vision until the presentation, to be made in Tokyo on March 9. With the recall crisis dissipating, Toyoda had said last month he wanted to outline his corporate vision for 2020, flagging the announcement around spring.

I would only agree if they were to return to their hay day when they produced not just boring beige boats but fun cars as well. Celica, MR2, XRS, Supra, all got canned.

The Camry Solara has the potential to be a competitor with the Altima and Accord Coupes but it lacks in every perspective (power, refinement, design, etc.).

TRD needs to be a mainstay and offered as models. Canada has TRD versions of cars, why can't we.
