WOMPWOMP: The Aventador Is Caught With Its Pants Down On The Geneva Show Stand

What can easily be classified as one of the worst-kept auto show secrets, Lamborghini is preparing the Aventador, LP700-4 or whatever you want to call it, for the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

How do we know? Well, it helps when the guys from Autogespot actually came across live images of the car on the stage.

Unmistakingly Lamborghini. Stunning, but would appear to be a fresher design if not for the foreshadowing supplied by the Reventon. Love the taillights, even if they do appear a bit Audi-esque.

Two thumbs up on my part. It has a lot of the Gallardo's (and Reventon's as mentioned above) angles but they've been softened, 70's-style. It actually makes it look more modern. The proportions are also better than the Gallardo's.

Talking about the 70's, the rear wheel arches appear to get their inspiration from the Ford GT 40.
