Audi A3 Sedan Concept Steps Out For REAL This Time

Audi A3 Sedan Concept Steps Out For REAL This Time
So, although we have seen the sketches of Audi's A3 sedan, which has over 400 horsepower according to some peculiar claims, now it's time to take a look at the real deal.

Though I am willing to wager that a majority of users will say that this Audi looks like every other product the brand has put out, it is easily seen that Audi has continued to build evolutionary designs. Whether or not this A3 sedan concept will make it to production with this kind of power is likely optimistic, at best.

We've already seen teaser sketches of Audi's new A3 Sedan Concept, but tonight, the first real life photos of the design study started circulating around the web ahead of its world premiere at the 2011 Geneva Salon . While Audi prefers to call the concept the A3 Sedan, the RS3 Sedan moniker sounds more appropriate given the RS3 Sportback-sourced 2.5-liter turbocharged five-pot with 408 ponies lurking under the bonnet...

This coming from a Toyota/Lexus fan?

Hilarious.

LoL. Camry and Accord having "eye catching designs". Mom and Dad must have one of each? These two cars were designed to offend the least amount of people so that they can maximize volume (Camry apparently more so than Accord as I found out from neighbors that bought Toyotas).

Toyota and Honda have eye catching designs? HILARIOUS! Maybe to the incredibily mundane percentage of the population. Not sure where you live, but for the record, I see MANY A3's, every day.

I see A3's all day! I've even seen fairly attractive women driving tuned versions, ABT stuff.

As for the Accord & Camry being eye catching designs, I will not question your taste, but the only time I either of these cars catch my eye, is when:

I'm stuck behind one in traffic.
I'm forced to drive around one because it is holding up traffic.
I'm bored while stuck in traffic and decide to count how many I see in 10 seconds.

I'm not at all warm to the sharp creases and angular styling. I like the A5, though.

I really like the sharp creases and angular styling. Thats the way Audi used to style it's cars from the original Quattro in 1980. Too many cars today look round and bloated( as in the new BMW 6 series-Oh right it is bloated at 4400 Blbs!)The Quattro Concept shows the way. Lets see some more crisp edge styling from Audi again.

I'll wait for the real deal to show up before I come to any conclusion, but looking at the sketches I'd say: 90's A4?
