Yesterday, Autocar reported that the current Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X is the last model of its kind and that the next-generation will not be produced. Apparently, the reason was that the Japanese manufacturer wants to focus more on electric vehicles and. Moreover, Mitsubishi wants to introduce at least eight full electric or hybrid cars by 2015.

I must be old because I can remember when Mitsubishi sold cars in the US that people actually cared about: 3000GT VR4, Galant VR4 and sporty Eclipse GSX & GS-T.

The Starion and Conquest were the same cars. In the US it was sold under Mitsubishi as the Starion and under Plymouth and Chrysler as the Conquest. How was the Starion inferior to the Conquest?
