SPY PHOTOS: New BMW Cabriolet caught out in the open

yeah it looks just ok.No wow factor plus not that much appealing as the current one.

I repeat my words that the new generation 3 Coupe/cabrio is a step backwords.A poor effort from the Bavarian MOTOR WORKS.

Hope the new M3 remain upto the hype.

this is a disguised vehicle, it's going to look good in it's final trim. Every BMW test mule looks boring, that's the way they want it.

e--s--f, you struggle. The couple already looks hot, so why wouldn't it without a top? The CLK is a girly-mobile, but if that's your thing good for you.

Who cares what the things look like. People don't buy them because they look cool. They buy them because it says BMW on the hood. Just look at any one of the current generation BMW's. No one can possibly buy one because they're really diggin those "flame effect" side panels. Most can't drive to within 50% of the cars performance potential anyway. Right around the corner from here is a pretty sharp turn. Every Saturday and Sunday morning there's wrecker cherry pick'n a BMW out of the desert after rolling the thing several times because they couldn't handle it. Too many times with tragic consequinces! But then again, sometimes it's just time to thin the herd.

and what is your reasoning again? I'm glad you like the CLK, good for you. The new coupe has yet to be seen in the flesh, so I guess time will tell. For me, I love the sedan and I think the coupe looks just as good. To each his own, and speaking of bring ammo, does this even make sense? "You could say the CLK is a "girly-mobile", but I would be happy if that girly-mobile were one of the nicest looking cars on the road, which it is"

which lots of folks think is ugly (I've yet to meet one in the real world, however), this BMW is starting to look like a Volvo!

I love this vehicle. It will further dent CLK sales as well as make the SC430 and Volvo C70 kind of irrelevant.

What do you want, photos? Our BMW store is right next door. Behind this 42 acre complex is about 500 high end apartments and condos. Almost every Friday and Saturday night there is someone who wads up thier BMW on a sharp corner because presumedly they were either drinking or not aware of thier own driving limits. It is a 90 degree turn located at the end of a mile long straitaway in either direction but the road is 5 lanes wide and people get up to 60-100mph on the approaches. I see the cars come in on flat beds to the dealership because that's were the insurance companies want them dropped off. Sometimes the cars have the roofs cut off and bad stains on the airbags. It's a very ugly sight. My point is, if you are going to drive the "ultimate driving machine" you should figure out your own limits and not try to find out those of the car without proper training. People often drive them like they think they can but all too often find out they can't.

It will take some time before it grows on me like the current 3-series did. All beautiful cars in their own respect.
