North Carolina Moves To Make Operation Of Traffic Cameras A Criminal Offense

In the article it goes on to discuss very briefly the competing Legislation Bill being proposed to pay for the Court Judgment that that state incured. The bill states that 90% of all revenue generated from the cameras is to go to Public Schools in the area. So not only are they getting it from the Taxation side, now they are going to get it from the Ticketing side too. I wonder how we all pay local school taxes along with property taxes, fuel taxes, sales taxes and the list goes on and on yet not one of these Government Run organizations can opperate within the buget of the revenue streams their particular tax was put in place for. I know in my house hold when I get my pay check, that is my buget and I am fairly sure the whole of the US is this way when it comes to us common folk. But I guess Governments are smarter than us and continually have to create more exspensive programs to educate us as to why they need more!!!

It's poor budget management. I live in NC, and I can attest that Charlotte schools are in a major budget crisis - with the district closing entire schools and laying off hundreds of teachers monthly in an attempt to stop the hemorrhaging.
