SPIED: Kia To Inject More SOUL For 2012

SPIED: Kia To Inject More SOUL For 2012
As can be seen, spy photographers captured the latest images of the 2012 Kia Soul in Germany. Problem is you can't see all that much.

However, we now know that Kia is going to be updating the Soul going into the next model year. Although we can't begin to think of possible design inspiration, Carscoop is speculating that the revamped Soul will borrow some cues from the Picanto and Rio, which were both present at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

If you were to update the Soul, do you have any ideas what you would change first? Remember, this is one of the vehicles that was designed with youth in mind but appealed to an older demographic anyhow.

It appears that the Soul is the next vehicle in Kia’s list to receive an update. Caught here in testing in Germany by our spy photographers, the bagged-up ends do their job to hide the Soul’s stylistic upgrades with the only visible change being the redesigned exterior mirrors that house the turning lights...

Add the new 1.6 and the nu 1.8 and give em both the 6 speeds. Improved gas mileage by 2-4mpgs and Kia has a class leader. Wife loves hers, but would love to get 30 mpgs Currently get 26-27 mostly city.

To sportsbike80:

Yeah that's how I feel that when the 2011 Tuscon arrived people where all oh oh whine it looks like a Murano and ignoring that the Mazda CX-5 is an Infinti EX or Impresza hatch.

Now you know how I feel.
