VIDEO: NYPD To Implement Sirens You Hear And FEEL, We Introduce
How many times have you been driving around in a big city when a street walker meanders right in front of your car. You scream or say an expletive and slam on the brakes. Phew, that was close.

Now imagine you're a police officer and you're responding to a call. Likely you're doing a higher rate of speed and you'd assume that most people would observe the flashing lights and blaring sirens. Well, I guess that's not the case because now the New York Police Department has a new piece of technology up its sleeve.

Better known as "The Rumbler," this new siren system uses low frequencies and subwoofers so pedestrians actually feel an approaching police vehicle.

Although this is the first time I've heard of this technology, I have experienced it firsthand and I can reassure you one thing, it definitely makes vibrations in your chest.

**Check out the video below to hear more about this new police technology

Watch out oblivious pedestrians! A new high-powered, low frequency siren is now being used by the NYPD.

Glad I do not live in NY. All of that funding and yet crime rates are still not lowering.
