Infiniti wants F1 deal to ‘turbo charge' brand recognition
Infiniti seeks to close a new deal with the Red Bull F1 team, Formula One's reigning champion, to promote the brand's name in Europe. Nissan Motor Co.’s luxury brand has a marketing deal with the Red Bull F1 team that covers the 2011 and 2012 seasons. As part of the deal, the Infiniti name will appear on nose cones, sides and the rear wings of the Red Bull racecars

Put INFINITI on a restyled GT-R and everyone will recognize the brand. Fxxx Ghosn to leave it in Nissan only.

I read it on an F1 site that partnership will be more than just turbo charge the brand recognition. Infiniti will help Renault making the 2013 turbo charged 4 cylinder engine and other KERS/battery related technology because they are quite advance in this field with cars like Leaf. Also good to see manufacturers coming back to F1. First Proton-Lotus and now Infiniti.
