Lexus thinks young for hybrid launch
Lexus will undertake its "largest campaign in scope and diversity” to launch the CT 200h entry-luxury hybrid, according to Automotive News. As gasoline prices continue to rise, Lexus is taking this opportunity to appeal to younger buyers. Lexus didn’t divulge how much it intends to spend on the campaign; however, it’s not expected to exceed what was used to launch the original 1989 LS 400 or the 2009 RX 350, which had more of a mainstream media push.

I test drove this last week. Slow as shiite but def a nice hybrid. I like it but it's pricey!

If they wanteed to make it "youthful" AT THE LEAST they shouldve taken out the hybrid paart .

I like the direction...the car reminds me of when the first IS hit the US shores...a "youthful" appearance aimed at a younger market. However, this one is priced more for the professional, and I don't think it will inspire droves of "boy-racers" like the IS once did.

It's a luxury version of the Toyota Matrix with a hybrid motor.

I sat in one at a wine & food festival and was impressed, it felt nice and fitted, but the price point is out of the league, especially how I would like it optioned.
