The European arm of Mugen announced that it is currently working on a highly-tuned version of Honda’s CR-Z, capable to deliver Type R performance but with a better fuel consumption. Yeah, but tuners can make one-offs. They are not in the mass production business.

Mugen made a Civic that was available from dealers, only problem was it only came with some suspension tweaks, wheels, and stickers.

Honda should just offer a version of the CR-Z with either the 2.4L in the TSX or the 1.9L with a turbo.

I'm still trying to figure out why Honda is so against utilizing turbo power. Heck even a turbo 1.5 would be nice, albeit most likely won't surpass the upcoming Veloster turbo.
