Louisana GM Plant Grinds To Halt Over Delayed Japanese Parts
General Motors Co will suspended production at its Shreveport Assembly plant in Louisiana next week because of a parts shortage resulting from the crisis in Japan, the company said on Thursday.

The plant, employs 923 hourly and salaried workers and builds two pick-up truck models: Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon.

So much for it being an "American truck" Just shows that there really isn't any true American cars yet some Japanese cars built here like the Tundra are designed and built here with American parts and are not sold anywhere else but here.
