VIDEO: Who Knew Drifting Was One Of Moscow's Favorite Past Times?

VIDEO: Who Knew Drifting Was One Of Moscow's Favorite Past Times?
Although I am still trying to figure out who watches Formula Drift to begin with, apparently there is a drifting scene in Russia. How do I know? Well, I came across this video right here.

Featuring two of the top drivers from the Russian Drift Series, Evgeniy Satyukov and Geprgiy Stephanyan, this little Moscow Drift gives the boys from Tokyo and the Middle East a run for their money.

**Note: I always find it funny when videos attach labels like "All the stunts in the film are performed by professionals on blocked streets," because they clearly aren't blocked.

CAUTION!!! Do not try do to this on a public roads. All the stunts in the film are performed by professionals on blocked streets.

Watch till the end, a little bonus waiting you at the end of the film.

Drivers (Team Dragtimes):
Evgeniy Satyukov (1st place in individual competition -- Russian Drift Series 2010)
Geprgiy Stepanyan (2nd place in individual competition -- Russian Drift Series 2010)

I use to have an active autowerke supercharged and tuned E46 M3 and had the suspension tuned for drifting. I could do the pole drift where my front bumper was within a few inches of a pole as i drifed around it. I use to be able to drift like the guys in this video, but not as good. My ///M was interlagos blue with BBS LM's and the competition package with CSL body kit incluing the trunk. It looked beautiful. I miss those days.

BTW drifting is considered a sport for a lot of people. The same way it takes skill to race it takes more skill to hold drifts that long and that precise.
