Instead of using A8 platform they could also reskin the Bentley Continental GT and call it A9. Many people would love to have Continental GT for 70% of the price.

The Centurion Card, known informally as the black card, is a charge card issued by American Express. According to Journal International, the average age of a Centurion reader is 49 years. 94% of primary cardholders are male and they have an average of 3.3 properties. Their average household income is €653,000 and their average total net worth is €4.5million. They have an average disposable monthly income of €8,800.

My point for this diversion is that people who have this card can afford to buy almost any car they prefer. This car is not targeted towards people who don't have the means to afford it. Audi (and other car manufacturers who sell cars that cost more than the average house) really only care what people who can afford this car think. Whether the rest of us like it or not doesn't really matter much.

I agree that it will be interesting to see what they come up with.
