Audi has unveiled a technologically-advanced edition of the long wheelbase A8 luxury saloon, which was engineered with broadband Internet, using long-term evolution (LTE) technology. It’s amazing that similar to a fixed-line broadband connection, this system offers data transfer speeds of up to 100Mbps. Two points I'd like to make:
(1) The cost of high-speed mobile data and its associated bandwidth (e.g., streaming movies) makes it impractical. For now. And I speculate we are years away from this being feasible. Nice to know someone is interested, though.
(2) I feel when folks are driving, they should pay attention to driving. Browse the web, and download your porn and pirated DVD torrents when you're at home.
