If You Need A New Vehicle You Might Want To Buy It NOW!
If you're in the market for a new car, but especially if you're looking at a fuel-efficient Japanese model, experts say you're better off buying now because prices will only get higher in coming weeks as the effects of the earthquake in Japan and the unrest in Libya and the Middle East start to be felt.

Up to now, Japan's earthquake has had little effect on prices of Japanese cars here. For the most part, dealers already had cars on their lots with more coming on ships and trucks.

I really doubt the prices will go up. The dealers might not offer deals like they are now and there may be waiting lists for the exact model you want. But the earthquake won't really raise prices. And what does Libya have to do with the price of cars? Sure gas prices are up but that's because wall street is allowed to speculate on oil prices and raise them for no good reason, why is unrest in Libya going to raise the price of cars?
