T-Mobile to be the wireless carrier for Audi Connect
Audi has chosen telecommunications specialist T-Mobile to be the wireless carrier for Connect, its new infotainment system. This April, the Audi Connect will be launched on the new A7. This system has everything from Google Earth, Google Local Search, to Sirius Traffic information. T-Mobile will provide a SIM card to Audi’s vehicles, bridging the missing link between T-Mobile’s network

Ouch..T-Mobile..Good luck getting service with that. Especially considering their 4G build out is years out. Guess it will work on the "faux" G they have been touting lately. Should have gone withe Verizon. Much better service and coverage, plus their true 4G launched last year.

Oh like this was a big surprise. T-Moble is a German company, the only German telecommunications company in the US. Not the best choice I agree.

smart because they are able to sign the contract with a ok carrier and then use the AT&T network in 6 months
