What RIDICULOUS Concept Do You Think Should've Made It To PRODUCTION?
Now within the realm of concept cars and design studies, you have to admit, some the pieces that are constructed are pretty wacky. Unfortunately, some are just so zany they never see the light of day. For some, that is a good thing, for others it is a crying shame.

Take, for example, the Lamborghini Miura concept that made its debut several years ago. It looked stunning. There was not one wrong line or a particular angle that made you say "Hmm, I am not so sure about this." Lamborghini shuttered the idea because the company didn't want to do the retro thing. [insert wompwomp here]

Then there's the out-of-this-world concepts coming from design schools. The vehicle featured in our cover shot is of Jeremy Westerlund's take on a Rolls-Royce. Dubbed "Apparition" there is no mistaking this Roller for what it is. Oh yeah and it's absolutely massive. Additionally, take note of the throwback cues like the carriage-inspired chauffeur.

With that said, think back or peruse our extensive galleries and let us know:

WHICH concepts did you WISH were given the green light over the years? That includes design studies, show concepts and design school projects.

This stunning concept called Rolls-Royce Apparition was created by Jeremy Westerlund from Dallas. He designed it as an independent project while studying at the Art Center of the School of Design. The car differs sharp geometric lines, the huge hood and a large 23-inch wheels. This concept is a great blend of classic design elements and futuristic ones...

A more interestiong question is - which concepts should never have made it to production (e.g. the Pontiac Aztek).

VW should have done the original Microbus concept. Apparently the latest Bulli concept is green-lighted for production but that one isn't a full a minivan, more of a Scion xB type car.
