Most Anticiapated New York Auto Show Debuts
With the New York Auto Show quickly approaching let's take a look at some of the most anticipated debuts from New York.

Number 5: Porsche Panamera S. As if the Panamera didn't already have enough horsepower to shame many supercars in acceleration Porsche has decided to give its five door hatch 50 more additional horsepower.

Number 4: Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. Mercedes finally puts its great-sounding 6.3 liter AMG V8 in a coupe to challenge the BMW M3, Audi RS5 and Cadillac CTS-V. The C63 AMG coupe would place higher but we have already seen how it will look thus losing some of its excitement.

Number 3: Lexus LF-Gh. This hybrid concept should do a good job of previewing the next generation of the GS sedan that is certainly due for an update.

The new GS will be the most anticpated vehicle. But as it is with all Lexuses it will be a disappointment to everyone but the fanboys.

Lexus could put wheels and a "L" badge on a turd and the fanboys will love it. They already have, it was called the SC430. Even though the rest of the world laughed at the SC430, I've yet to hear a fanboy say anything bad about it.

@LexusSucks,

speak for yourself, the SC430 is one of the Ugliest car I have seen. It look like a bad tub. And no, it is actually the BMW badge whore that I think would buy a turd if it had a BMW logo on it. I betcha they will said to themselves this turd can 0-60 in 2.0s and it had a magical feeling as well. LOL.....ha..ha...ha...

I'd rather be on my side of the fence, than on the Lexus/Toyota lovers side. I mean seriously; how can someone be a fan of a company that makes such lame cars?

The SC430 had a two yr waiting list and was bringing 10k over sticker back in 2001. Lexus made alot of money with that car. You may not be old enough to remember how much success that car had. It wasn't until the latter years of it's product cycle that sales fell off.

In 2001 I was 34 years old. And once people saw what the car was really about sales tanked not too soon after 2001. The SC430 was a car that only the fanboys liked. The rest of the world saw it as a lame pretender.

Current GS already looks better than the bland new E class and other new competitors like A6, 5 series, Infiniti M are no beauties either. The Germans unlike before are not raising the design benchmark so it won't be very hard to come out with a better design than them. An evolution of current GS would do it, it will be very competitive design wise.
