The Affordable Supercar, Nissan GT-R, Becomes Unaffordable
So, remember how the Nissan GT-R is suppose to be the affordable supercar? Well, I don't think Nissan got the memo on this one. That's because THIS GT-R costs approximately $215,000.

Yes, you read correct.

That's because this Nissan has real 24K gold accents and its interior is a special leather. On top of that, the steering wheel emblem takes hours to assemble and the speakers that adorn the interior are placed according to the driver's height.

Considering the 2010 GT-R I had the chance to pilot had a phenomenally nice interior, this one must take it into the stratosphere. Everyone cracking on the GT-R being a Nissan doesn't have much of a case if they inspect the quality of its build. Unless you're a brand whore.

Aside from that, this review does all of the essentials: talk about the GT-R's crazy speed, mention it being a giant killer and talk about the recent updates that render it even better than the first iteration.

Camels. They don't figure high up on my list of favourite critters. I appreciate their pride of place in Middle Eastern culture, but they have the annoying habit of meandering into the intended travel path of your car.

Therefore, for the purpose of this test, I am heading to the Hajar Mountains, where a spectacular 10km ribbon of tarmac nestled near Wadi Al Qor awaits me. With its unrelenting corners, blind crests and fiendish camber changes, our secret test route is a mini Nordschleife of sorts. More importantly, there isn't a camel in sight. Just the odd goat, but no camels.

The front intake and the side strakes are dressed up in real 24K gold, while the interior is lined with acres of soft cow peelings sewn together by Germany's master leather craftsmen, Seton...

The title of the article is really misleading. Agent00R I use to like to read your articles but now it seem like you just become like Agent009 which most if not all autospies members dislike.

This is a customize Nissan GT-R not stock.

@Lexus

Sorry but you're not on point here. This car is a special edition specifically for the middle eastern market. It's merely a trim level.

And yes, Nissan set this up. It's not an aftermarket tuner.

The point is the Title is misleading.....how about "Nissan's special edition GT-R not so affordable"

Agent00R,

NO it is you who miss my point. Most if not 99.999% Nissan GT-R are still affordable to an average buyers. Even thought Nissan set this up, it still consider a customize or Special model GT-R.

Let me ask you a question, does all of the Nissan GT-R in North America and Europe sold like this and cost this much? ah...NO.

Stay on topic here.

You said the vehicle isn't stock. It is.

What bug me is your title, it really misleading. When I read the title I thought Nissan raise the price of the stock or base model Nissan GT-R and than I read the article and found out it was a special edition.

Same here, I was sure this meant the price was being raised on the stocker !

Still a great car tho ...

This is a GT-R for the Mansory-buying public. Read the article
"The front intake and the side strakes are dressed up in real 24K gold, while the interior is lined with acres of soft cow peelings sewn together by Germany's master leather craftsmen, Seton."

So i agree with Lexus, this is a limited edition GT-R and it is almost USD 100K more expensive than the standard GT-R. Standard GT-R is still a very affordable Supercar compare to Lamborghinis and Ferraris.

Is this the very same Agent00R who was caught making things up, masking his own opnions as facts and making up dodgy imaginary taxi friends to back up his theory ??

Is all of that true about 00R?

Agent00R,

it is you who need to stay on topic instead of making misleading title like 009 or whatever his name is. I said this is a customize or special edition model NOT a mod model.

Agents stay true to cars and facts and leave politics alone and you will see the membership count of your site rise. I hardly come here anymore and i see the same for others. looking at today's articles I see nothing has changed. You guys are better then this.

Here's the gist of what Agent00R did..

There was an article about the reliability of the Prius batteries, independently verified cases of taxis drivers doing 100K or or more on their Prius with minimal loss of performance even for 100K or even 20K miles..
Agent00R disagreed with the article because he hates Toyotas, comes out with an extended bit of his own opinion stating that he knows a few taxis drivers who had to change their batteries many times and at so many thousand dollars a pop .. very credible friends ? Imaginery i say...

Yes the heading is misleading. It should have said "Nissan Offers a GTR
Limited Edition Package that is Unaffordable to most buyers".Then it should have said the good news is the package is only available in the Middle East.Agent 00R is like a politician or an over zealous news organization. Simply put providing information snippets for the benefit of argument but excluding most of the facts.
