NEW YORK AUTO SHOW PREVIEW: 2012 Nissan Versa To Make An Appearance In The BIG Apple
It looks like one of the cheapest vehicles currently on the market is going to receive a much needed redesign that will be getting an unveil at the 2011 New York Auto Show. But it's likely that you've seen it before. That's because it's been pointed out that the sketch of the 2012 Versa looks strikingly similar to the Nissan Sunny, which is sold in China.

So much for that unveil!


NEW YORK — Nissan is planning to introduce a successor to the compact Versa sedan at the upcoming 2011 New York Auto Show.

The Japanese automaker released a teaser sketch last October of the 2012 Versa, saying only that it would be "sold in the Americas."

Since then, the sketch has been posted to Nissan's consumer Web site, where it is described as the 2012 Nissan Versa and the "next-generation Versa." The Nissan Web site adds that the car will be "available soon...

<sigh> yet another insignificant Nissan. When I see designs like these and then look at what SAAB is offering I wonder if something isn't wrong with the world. Nissan is making money and SAAB is almost dead. Where's the JUSTICE?!? Oh the humanity...

This doesnt look like Nissan. It just looks like transportation. Like something that would be available at Sam's club if there were a section called CAR.

Things are looking better every year for Hyundai...

I just can't see anyone saying "I can't wait till this is available" Hyundai as nothing to worry about except maybe Fords new Focus and Fiesta.
