What I get from this is that the M3 is an excellent masterpiece. It really is BMW's halo car. Why else would Audi have to resort to using an R8 during the BMW v. Audi billboard battle?

Yes...the price it is absurd,the only thing even more absurd is Vicki's hyperbole filled orgasm when describing an only slightly faster M3 take a cigarette break hun,and gather your thoughts maybe then you'll realize that it's not that hard of a debate when choosing between a GTS,and a GT3RS.

The price is off the charts but so is the cost of maintaining these on
the edge, push the envelope specialty vehicles. When owners of these and other supercars find out how much it costs for service (to drive the car with no more enjoyment than the day before they find out) they
stop driving it so often...for you doubters just thumb through the
duPont Resgistry and check the low milage on all the cars for sale. Its
called buyers remorse..."How do I protect the ungodly amount I paid for this thing during a weak moment ? I know I won't drive it so much !" Sad. Buying a Miata or Mustang and driving the wheels off it is more fun
and less worry.

Im pretty sure if some one buys a $150,000+ track car they are aware of the cost of upkeeping it, unless they are just dumb. And for all the cars you see on Dupont there is an equal amount of people who retain the cars for a long time as collectors..
