Jeep looking at diesel-powered models in three years

Several models in Jeep’s range for the US market may be offered with diesel engines within three years, says Mike Manley, the president and CEO of Chrysler's Jeep brand. It takes about 5 years development time so expect 8 years since in 3years, they will only look.

I would be interested in a Rubicon with the diesel, I also would be concerned with the weight, maybe it would be no big deal? You could also use bio fuel, and you could make it your self.
