Seen on at Keyes. The pictures fail to show its size. It is quite large. Must get the S-Line trim to make it really stand out.

I've seen one in the flesh. I definitely like it in person, but am left cold by many of the pictures. Pictures don't do it justice.

The only problem is the car can't be sold till the 15th by any dealer.
Each dealer got one launch/demo model like this.
And does it ever look great in the flesh.
This car is going to become second only to the R8 as the best design they offer.
And it will amaze them when they see how many people go for it.
It will surpass all their forecasts.

001: Please don't read what I'm about to say as a slam -- I'd be interested if you kept tabs of your predictions, and determine your success rate. I *believe* you're a credible auto authority, but I don't know (not that it matters to you or anyone else what others think). None the less, I think it would be cool if you had accessible stats such as "86 predictions made in the past 6 months with a 88% success rate." And have a web page that lists (a) date of prediction, (b) description, which includes how to measure pass/fail (i.e., metric + date), and (c) right/wrong.
I imagine if you established a strongly favorable track record, you could leverage this in some way :-)

There's a fully loaded Phantom Black A7 parked outside of my local dealership. It's an impressive car in the flesh for sure, but for $80,000, my money would be spent elsewhere.

$5,900 for the Sound System?!? That's insane!

Maybe I'm putting a little too much thought into this but, if you're paying $6,300 for the Prestige Package with 19" wheels with all season tires, then adding another $1,500 for the Sport Package with 20" wheels, why do I not get 2 sets of wheels? Aren't they both already paid for per the advertised cost?

Bmw8ter ; excelent Idea...cause in that way we have an spare set to replace whenever is needed.

The spare set would be a winter set. I just feel like it's false advertising. If you go on the website, using the A6 as the basis, it clearly shows that the sport package is $1,500 with a 20" wheel/tire included. And the prestige package includes a wheel/tire combo too. I just feel like it's only fair that they give me both wheels with tires.
I'm in the market for a new car. I think I'm going to take a lawyer with me on the next trip to the Audi dealership.

I saw one last week at the Audi dealer and nothing special. Audi really needs a new stylistic vision.

So if I want a shorter A8 I go for the A7? Or do I stick to the A6? This is such a joke and people are going to fall for it hard. All makes no sense to me and better yet they are pretty much all offering the same exact ride and performance. I am confused but I am assuming that there are other people smarter then me making these decisions.

IMO this is the best looking AUDI in their range.
Shame that AUDI = Always Unimpressed Driving It.

I love this car. I too have a local dealer that has a black one displayed out front, with the sport package, and I think it looks extraordinary. I see it being terst driven alot, and it looks great going down the road.

It’s nice....but doesn’t standout when compared to other cars in the same class.

eh, saw one at the Cincinnati Auto Show. Thought it looked ok, but it's the least sporty looking "four door coupe" in the segment (Porsche Panamera, Mercedes CLS, and BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe). I'm sure it's a nice vehicle, but I'd rather have one that stands out more compared to the rest of the manufacturer lineup (i.e. I'd want the vehicle to be recognizable as not just an Audi, but as a very cool Audi). All those other vehicles have that, this one just doesn't have that "it" factor to me.

It looks like what it is, an overpriced A6 hatchback big deal.....
