TRUE or FALSE? Is This The Spec Sheet For The NEW 911 GT3RS 4.0?
According to the forum users at Teamspeed, someone's got their hands on the rumored Porsche 911 GT3RS 4.0's spec sheet.

Here's the problem though: there is no official release from Porsche about this vehicle even existing. Additionally, it can't be THAT hard to create a false document if you have a lot of time and a creative imagination.

Granted if what we see does turn out to be real, we're diggin' it.

500 horsepower in a GT3RS? Sweet!

Ok, here is the information.

Important info: 6speed manual, 500hp, 180´000euros with 20% Vat....

This sheet doesn't seem legit. After all, there isn't even a Porsche logo on this sheet...

and it says "Model Year 2011" when it would be a 2012. The rest of that photo is illegible.

Is not a secret that Porsche's being using a 4.0 flat 6 in the GT3 RSR! So the principal element on this case, they have it, which is the engine (4.0). Even though the sheet doesn't show any branding, as Autospies stated "it takes a lot of time and creative imagination" to do this. For some years I worked for a Porsche dealer, and the type of font (Franklin Gothic) and the sheet format and disposition looks very familiar to me. So we better be ready for this new toy from Zuffenhausen.-

I don't think people are questioning whether Porsche is considering the car itself, they're questioning the validity of this document. It's illegible here but I saw a thread on another site where apparently this document has the horsepower in bhp instead of PS, the word "brakes" are misspelled as "breaks", etc. The document is suspect.

And I'm not sure, but why would an internal spec sheet from Porsche use English, while at the same time, be in Euro? Is that a common practice?

Well, even though we think it should be German, Porsche publishes a lot of their documentation for it's distribution network in english. Anyhow if someone here noticed some errors in the sheet itself, it takes some credibility away to the document. So we will have to wait.-
