Tax Time Frolics: Are You Putting Your Refund Towards The Purchase Of A New Vehicle?
The April 15th tax deadline is looming, and if you are better off than me, you might have more than a whopping $22.00 tax refund on the way.
With that in mind just what are you going to do with that new found wealth?
Will the combination of a sizeable refund and record low interest rates take you over the edge and pick up the dream vehicle you always have wanted?
Were you lucky enough to be able to write off part of your vehicle as an expense? If so what type of car was it? Just how creative did you get?

Despite AMT, got almost 8k back. It's going to TR&B which will be close to 55k next year. It's worth it, my kid is loving the life.

I will not get a tax refund because General Electric and other huge corporations took it. Where are all of the jobs they where supposed to create?

I know, right? I was looking forward to buying a new car. The divorce thing was easy to get over. The missed opportunity to use my tax return towards a new car that I want, now that will take some time and soul searching.

Anyone who is getting a refund did a poor job calculating their withholding. Why loan the government money at zero percent interest?
Instead withhold less so you get a bigger paycheck on each payday, and then pay the balance you owe the IRS in April. Where else can you borrow for zero percent interest?
