NEW, DETAILED Photos Of The 2012 Honda Civic, From The Inside Out
The Honda Civic has been known as a staple to many garages across the world. The Civic has always been thought as a good mode of transportation that was reliable and managed to putt around in a conservative, little package.

Even better, it sipped gas.

Now Honda plans to roll out its "all-new" 2012 Civic and while I usually don't " " the words all-new, I think it is appropriate this time. That's because it doesn't appear to be all-new as it looks more like a refresh.

If you're not sure what I am talking about, get a load of the 80 plus images that a Honda forum -- 9thcivic -- posted of the 2012 arriving at dealers.

Besides the appearance of some cosmetic enhancements, it's not groundbreaking. Granted, is it suppose to be, given that it's a Civic?

What is there to tease. Worse power to weight ratio, taller gearing and hybrid like styling.

Civic buyers that want power usually buy the Si version.

The interior, I have friends that works on the factory line. apparently interior quality took a big nosedive to cut costs and they said it shows

What a POS! And I am a Honda owner. Soon to switch sides to Korean with the crap Honda is now putting out. The is SO evolutionary, it's not even funny. If you saw from past side by side comparisions of the exterior, and especially the interior, you wouldn't know what year car you were in, they looked 97% identical. Honda must've said "Holy Sh*t when they saw the new Hyundai Elantra. Better looks, more equipt for the money, better value, and 5yr/60K bumper to bumper and 100K powertrain warranty vs their 30yr/36K warranty, it's game over! Japanese no longer represent value, they are now greedy with their inflated pricing, and inferior products. And they are supposed to be the benchmark. Amazing how Hyundai and Kia not only turned themselves around seemingly overnight from a joke to noone is laughing now. They are legit, and are blowing right by Honda and Toyota. It's amazing that Honda and Toyota, the giants that they are are letting it happen. At least the CEO of Toyota recongizes it's time to change their designs from appliances to far more attactive designs in the future. Why do you think he is changing designs? Hyundai and Kia, but Honda doesn't get it. Maybe they were at the point of no return with this near identical design, and crap quality interior. The plastic looks really low quality.

Nope, Jetta still = bland, cheap, last place...and unreliable, great combo!

Your are so fascinating Turbo! FYI, the Golf if not a Jetta, and we are talking about the Jetta. I don't really care who won the comparo, all I know is that the Jetta came in last.

I've always bought Honda's. Honda has completely lost it's way, time to take a look at Hyundai and Kia.

Hey, autobroker and richard112360 , Honda and Toyota are doing the right thing, getting rid of no brainers like you guys , Judging cars by the looks, what a bunch of amateurs, and by the way before looking at Hyundai and Kia maybe you should look at the build quality they offer. Thank you Honda and Toyota for not building crap like they do.

Have you seen the Corola? I like the Civic but the Corola has hardly changed in 20 years, it is a joke, the Civic is way better and the Corola is hardly comparable to any of the rest of the competition, your thinking is 20 years old when the Corola was top gun, in saying that is the Corola top pick in the Insurance institute crash tests? Unlikely, the civic is probably still up there, and build quality Hyundai is at the top, this is fact, not opinion.

Wow, The previous model looks better in my opinion. The Elantra, the Focus and the Cruze are leading style wise. Who'da thunk it!

I have to say that this is a "tepid" restyle at best. Ditto for the interior. Yes there are subtle changes but really it's even a "tepid" refresh. It's dissapointing to say the least. I'm sure it is a decent driving car and we will need to see what the final engine specs are. I know that the larger 2.0 is going into the SI version. I'm just surprised that the design language has barely changed when Kia came out with it's Forte coupe and sedan. Why would I choose an average rung Civic over a Ford Focus. The answer is I would not.

I own a 2007, and I don't see any difference? Maybe something subtle? I like the Civic, safe, reliable, and sporty... But a little boring, for me it has been a great commuter car, not something I jump for joy for, but very necessary. I would like to see it progress more.

The new Elantra has a rough, noisy ride and as one poster said about it's big brother the Sonata...the style is already getting old. Unless Honda has messed with the tires and suspension on the 12s, it's gonna be a pleasure to drive my wife's new EX-L.
