Not only isn't the Royal Family more wealthy than the "regular" people. They also pay less for vehicles? Just a case of the rich looking out for the rich. I'm glad I stopped being an Audi fan about 10 years ago.

every celeb you see in an Audi is beobably getting some type of discount. Same with BMW and about every other brand. I guess you need to start haiting them now right?

you liked them 10 years ago with a
1.8l slow A4
2.8l slow a6
and just a few other cars

but hate them now with the A5,S5,2012 A6, A7, A8, RS models, and R8's? OK RIIIIIGHT?!?!

Funny, I would have thought they were obliged to be seen in English brands only: Rolls-Royce, Bentley, etc. (yes, I know the Germans run those 2.)

The Royal family have driven Audis for close to 20 years - it all started with Diana in *that* Audi Convertible. Everyone wanted one! Audi's brand image (in the UK at least) was defined by Diana and the Royals; suddenly Audis weren't boring VWs, they were for wealthy young people. The discount is no doubt because of the massive publicity the Windsors have given Audi, and if it saves us UK taxpayers money, hooray!
Audi's head of PR is even invited to the wedding!

Do they actually ever drive though? I would think the Royal Family is always driven.

In that case I'd take an R8 V10, a new Quattro, and an RS4/RS6 Avant.

"They (Audi) have made large donations to charities that are supported by the Princes and signed an agreement in 2005 to sponsor the English polo squad"

"'Audi are competing against other German and luxury brands that are established in the UK market, and they've always been outsiders"

If you can't beat'em, bribe'em!
