About 20% of Lincoln’s metropolitan dealerships across the United States have been cut during the past six months. Late last year, Lincoln said that it will reduce 175 showrooms from its total of 500 to avoid redundancy and to boost the sales levels of the dealerships left.

I know this is everyone's Toyota-based marketing strategy, but I live in a pretty big metropolitan area, and Porsche, Lincoln, Volvo, Buick, Fiat, Chrysler, etc are far enough away that BMW, Ford, Mercedes, Chevy, Cadillac are far more likely to attract my business.......

At what point does customer convenience enter into the value part of this equation?
