Nissan to accelerate Leaf deliveries to United States

Since late December, Nissan Motor Co. has delivered 471 Leaf battery-electric cars to the United States. Nissan is aiming to boost shipments in this market. In a statement, Nissan said that it has made its first shipment of the lithium-ion battery models to the U.S. after the March 11 earthquake in Japan.

Seen only a coupe of Leafs around, but lately I've had many more Volt sightings. Interesting to see what kind of sales the Leaf will have once it goes into full sales mode across the entire country.
