NEW YORK AUTO SHOW: Wow, What A Color Can Do For The Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet
You know, 001 and I weren't exactly sure what to make of the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet. We did know one thing though: we had to give props to Nissan for having the audacity to build such an extreme vehicle.
When I imagined what a Murano convertible would look like, I imagined a picnic basket. Hell, that's what I likened it to while on-air during a live taping. Good thing I was wrong!
The only problem was Nissan decided to show the car off in this horrendous aqua paint job that made little children's eyes fall out of their skulls. But there is good news. Now that the car has made its way to the Big City, Nissan gave it a more conservative, white paint that seems to make sense with this vehicle.
A vehicle thought to be purely ridiculous makes more sense in a subdued and downplayed color. Hm, I wonder how it would look in black.
Are the Agents onto something here?
Does the color of the Murano CrossCabriolet change this vehicle's presence substantially?

Looks as cramped as a MINI inside. What's the point of this vehicle again?

Very bold design by Nissan. Nissan should be appreciated for producing such a model along with others like Juke, Cube...etc. Good to see a manufacturer taking some design risks where most car makers known for inspired designs(VW, BMW, Mercedes) are going boring and playing very safe.
I like the design, it's not for me but can see some customers of Mini, Beetle, Smart, French Cabriolets...etc going to Nissan showrooms and checking it out.

This care screams mid 30s to early 40s chick car
BTW...white makes it look plasticky and cheap. Black would probably make it look more upscale to reflect its price tag.
