NEW YORK AUTO SHOW: Range Rover Evoque Struts Its Stuff In The Big Apple, Are You Diggin' It?

NEW YORK AUTO SHOW: Range Rover Evoque Struts Its Stuff In The Big Apple, Are You Diggin' It?
As we've been saying since 001 first saw the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, the car is going to do incredible things for the brand. What makes this vehicle so intriguing is that the Evoque will likely appeal to both sexes.

It's masculine enough that a gent won't dismiss it, and it has that dirty look that captures a woman's attention. Believe you me, Spies, 001 and I think this is going to be the next big craze for young, urban professionals.

In addition, the opportunity to individualize the car with its different paint schemes and roof colors sets it apart from the crowd. Think: what other vehicles in this class have this superb look?

How do you feel the Range Rover Evoque will compete against the other guys?

Too cutesy and the wheels are a little too small looking at ride height.

I wonder if that was made from the Ford EDGE Crossover???????? I dont like it even though alot of women may take notice of it but its not what i expected. they need to take the Range Rover Sport and make it a 3 door now that would be something sweet.

I say:
But for the faithful Range buyers who will buy anything with the badge for snob appeal, this thing will be a flop! And for that HSE, someone needs to call BMW and ask what their plan was for the vehicle going forward! This too has no sense of direction and has lost its way, sadly!

I need to see it in person. Not a fan of the interior.

Funny you say that because the only thing I think is "premium" about the Evoque IS the interior. I think it may very be the indoor lighting of the autoshow but the exterior as a whole looks kinda cheap.

Did anybody think to take a single photo of the front?

They will sell a million of these things in Los Angeles. It will be the next "it" car.
