2012 Volkswagen Beetle is expected to sell as many as 50,000 to 60,000 units a year in the United States

Volkswagen apparently expects much from its new 2012 Beetle that will arrive in the fall. The carmaker forecasts that this model will sell up to 50,000 to 60,000 units annually in the U.S. Compared to sales of its outgoing model in recent years that fell to 15,000 units a year, this represents a huge improvement.
