Did The Prince Pick The RIGHT English Car To Chauffeur His Bride In OR Would You Have Chosen Something Different?

Did The Prince Pick The RIGHT English Car To Chauffeur His Bride In OR Would You Have Chosen Something Different?
If you weren't alive this week you probably wouldn't of heard about Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding. But if you had a pulse you were likely inundated with plenty of information about the bride and groom.

Not trying to be a Debbie Downer or anything but I didn't particularly care. I mean, I am not English nor am I marrying Kate, so why should I?

However, when I saw images and video of the newlyweds driving in Prince Charles' Aston Martin DB6 Volante, it got my clock tickin':

Would YOU have picked another British auto to drive?

Although the Aston Martin DB6 is a pretty stellar choice, I can't help but think there is something better. I'd love to say a McLaren F1 but something tells me it probably wouldn't be suitable ;)

Let us know in the comments down below...

I'm far more interested in why he has a Learner's tag on the car. He's had his licence for years. Unless that isn't a Learner's tag. That said, the soft top must have been a nightmare for his security detail to have to contend with.

Apparently its traditional to put a Learners plate on the wedding getaway car in Britain referring to learning "marital abilities".

Brilliant choice of car BTW.

This car was gifted to Prince Charles on his 21st Birthday so has a lot more symbolic value than your newer Phantoms and Bentley GTCs. I mean which idiot wants to emerge all sweaty and achy after driving an F1 during his wedding?

two points:

1. I can't stand when convertible drivers leave the side windows up. I'll give them a pass if it's bullet proof glass.

2. Doesn't Prince Charles know if you are bald and driving a convertible, you need to wear a cap to avoid sun burn.

When almost everything you do is regulated and controlled by the Royal Family, seriously what else would you expect Prince William to drive?

One main reason that Princess Diana was so revered in England and through out the world was because she infused some needed panache and elegance into the bland and frumpy Royal Family and didn't always kowtow to the Queen and Prince Charles.

Assuming of course that Prince William had no alternative but to Chauffeur this particular automobile, the Prince should have selected something that reflects his OWN personal ideal of style and taste.

I heard he drives an S4 as his daily driver and she drives an A3.
