"Take That BMW"? Neither that headline nor that phrase are from the article. In fact nowhere in the article are BMW or any other German brand even mentioned. All the article says is younger German buyers are more likely to consider a Chinese car than an older German buyer. Nowhere did it say they're more likely to consider a Chinese car over a German car, or any other car for that matter.

It's hard to believe that young people in any country would opt for cheaper imports at a time in their lifes when their financial resources are limited.
Next there'll be a report that well educated middle aged professionals and retirees with large disposable incomes or assets prefer upscale German cars - take that cheap imports...

@ blazinboy - They have just about as much morality as the US companies who practice business with the same ethical standards in the beginning of the 20th century, including those who use child labor. The US didn't become an advanced nation overnight, and neither will China, but they're aiming for that (along with all the missteps and hiccups along the way), so unless you're mothere Theresa, I'd suggest you also examine how straight your personal moral compass has been.

I'll trust an older buyers opinion before I trust a younger buyers opinion. Young people, for the most part are fools.
