Looks Like Audi MAY Join The Drop-Top SUV Party
Although the last time we really got a good look at the Audi Cross Cabriolet it was back in 2007, it seems that Nissan's recent bold move may have given the project a new life. That's because the new Nissan Murano Cross Cabriolet is about to hit dealers and make a splash.

They're definitely unique vehicles. The weird thing is that it is incredibly easy to hate these vehicles, it's also pretty easy to enjoy them. That's because they offer utility that a normal convertible can't. For example, the rear seats are actually functional and the Murano Cross Cabriolet can actually fit four adults.

Can you say the same about an Audi A5 Cabriolet? It's a little bit of a stretch.

With that said, there isn't significant evidence of Audi taking it seriously. I would say that the brand is simply mulling it over at this point.

Granted, if Audi did make a production version, would you actually want one?

Nissan...then Audi...then BMW...then Mercedes...then Cadillac...then
Lincoln...this will become a low volume high profit model for all high

Pretty sure Mercedes already makes a G class cabrio & Land Rover used to make a Defender cabrio (not sure if the later is still in production)
