EXCLUSIVE: First 2012 BMW 6-Series Already Appearing In Dealer Showrooms!
Earlier in the week you saw the first real life shots of the 2012 BMW 6 Series Cabrio from down in Cabo. As a matter of fact, Agent001 is test driving one of the very first examples as you read this today.
Well it is only a few days later, and can you believe the very first examples have already started appearing in the showrooms. Talk about fast to market!
One of our undercover agents just happened to stop by Century West BMW in Universal City this morning and they already have the 6 Series Cabrio on the floor ready for the line to start. If you live near Universal City this might be your first chance to actually see one in the flesh and go over all of the options. If you can't make it there, then check your local dealer to see when they will arrive, may be sooner than you think.
At ONLY $102K just how can you resist adding one for Mother's Day?

Nothing exclusive about this. Saw one yesterday on the streets of Philadelphia, not even close to a showroom! Nearest BMW dealership was at least 15 miles out.

Nice car. It looks like they’re finally starting to use modern looking gauges. And look! Buttons!!! So much for the boring "clutterless" interiors that are so cold, stark and drab. The E60's interior was BMW at its worst.

when I said that in the past, I got deboosted like crazy. Now that they changed it, its ok to talk about the old gauges. LOL.

Most people don't realize what needs updating until they see the updated item. They have no foresight and accept (and defend) whatever their favorite brand throws at them.
Even if it’s something as obvious as BMW’s old-looking crappy gauges, they will still defend it. When the new gauges are finally included on the car, it is now OK for them to accept it. Hence no de-boosts. Long Story short, people are just stupid.

It looks dated already!! Nothing is appealing to me about it.

sportsbike80 - that's a good one. The "spy" aspect of this website is pretty sad. It's more like a blog that pulls in articles from other automotive sites, which is fine, but let's call it that. I thought posting pictures taken from an Auto show the day before it officially opens is sad but being first to post pictures taken from an auto dealer? Pretty sad 009

Show us where else these pics are?
So they ARE exclusive.
YOU may not care but our 6-Series gallery already has over 200k views.

001, don't go around throwing technicalities like these are exclusive pictures. Heck, I can take a picture of an intersection and declare it exclusive because no one else has posted a picture of that intersection but that doesn't mean it has any meaningful value.

A new car as significant as the new 6 is news worthy on our site and customers want to know when it's really in dealers.

new 6er is uninspired. "Nice"? Yes, but the Maser convertible is oh so much cooler.

Looks good in black. Much nicer than the red that has been circulating.
