Mini 'Red Mudder' unveiled

Here is the initial sketch of the Mini 'Red Mudder,' a design conceived for the 2011 Life Ball – a charity event for AIDS.

The special edition Mini is the brainchild of Canadian twins Dean and Dan Caten, better known as the designer duo DSQUARED.


Since 2001, a MINI created by world-renowned designers has been a pivotal element of the Life Ball. Previous designers who have worked with BMW and MINI to create one-offs include Agent Provocateur, Donatella Versace, Diesel, Missoni and Gianfranco Ferré.

Mudder, lol ... These guys are great designers, and from what was given to them they did a great job, although I am not convinced that this mini is capable of wheeling through mud, look at the low profile tires and it sits too low, this is a trendy cross over car, but to call it a mudder,lol These guys just don't look like red necks to me, the one guy even put a denim shirt on, I still smell metrosexual! These guys don't look like they have ever been off road, although they are sharp dressers.
