When you think of the stalwarts of automobile manufacturers, you cannot leave out Mercedes-Benz. Not only has it been around since the very beginning but they produce some of the best vehicles on the road today. Sure, they're not everyone's cup of tea but they have continuously produced intriguing products for over 100 years.

Considering some companies can't even launch a brand, you have to give credit where it's due.

But MB isn't the subject of this video, which looks back at history. It's all about the skunkworks program that melded into a part of Mercedes. Yup, those three magic letters. A - M - G.

I like how they are spouting their DTM victories, kinda hard to not win a few races when there are only two constructors on the field :D

Um, in the past when they still competed with their 190 series DTM was composed of Opel and Alfa Romeo amongst other companies. Only in recent times have other manufacturers pulled out of the series. Big deal. Mercedes (not AMG) themselves have so much motorsport heritage.
