VIDEO: We HEAR The Pagani Huayra For The FIRST Time, Is It Better/Worse Than The Zonda?

VIDEO: We HEAR The Pagani Huayra For The FIRST Time, Is It Better/Worse Than The Zonda?
One of the best things about the original Pagani, the Zonda, was its high-pitched sound. Even though its motor was an AMG-sourced unit, you wouldn't of known it. It was an Italian wet dream.

That means that the Huayra has some mighty big shoes to fill.

The Huayra doesn't have that high-pitched, Italian exotic sound. Instead, it has more of a truck-ish inspired note that seems to be reinforced with some turbo whistling. It's definitely a grungier sound but not what I was expecting.

With that said, we've seen some of the first video letting the Huayra flex its vocal chords.

What do you think? Is this what you were expecting? Is it for better or worse?

We have seen many pictures and videos of the Pagani Huayra, but we haven’t enjoyed the sound coming from this Italian hypercar. The following footage answers all our endless waiting.

The Pagani Huayra is powered by a Mercedes-AMG V12 fitted with dual turbochargers. This engine produces over 700 horsepower and 1.000 Nm of torque. Thanks to these figures the top speed is above 370km/h and the acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in three seconds...

Like Jeremy Clarkson, I love how Pagani pays so much detail just in the direction of the carbon fiber weave!

I know different people have different tastes but you must be the type that find Escalades Beautiful.

Only a madman would call the Interior of this vehicle "Ugly"

While the interior is very well detailed, it is a far cry from being "beautiful".

This car is epic. Its so wide, it makes ferraris and lambos seem lame in comparison.

So, you've never driven a Nissan 350Z before? The gauge clusters move with the steering, too, when you adjust it.

Sooo ugly inside and out. Show this vehicle to anyone who knows nothing about cars and you'll find they will generally agree. It's like wearing huge gaudy jewelry. It's simply not classy.
