SPIED: 001 Nabs REVEALING Shots Of Kia's Upcoming Cadenza

The rear look almost like an Audi with Lexus tailpipe, side profile look like a Lexus and the front end a little Saab and Audi design in it as well. That is why I never buy or own a Hyundai or Kia.

I know automaker copy each other but do they have to make it so obvious? This is why my next car is going to be a Japanese car again or a German brands like an Audi or BMW.

I'll give you that the rear looks like it came off a VW/Audi, but I think it's hard to accuse them of copying the rest as you mentioned: the front is very Kia to me - they've been trying very hard to graft that nose onto everything recently... though it's pretty boring here. There's also not much to distinguish the profile but that chrome spear trim, which appears on everything now from Lexus and Lincoln to Hyundai and Buick (I'd call it a style-trend before claiming Kia plagiarized), and that upward kink at the rear of the greenhouse straight off the Optima.

In any case, I'm not really a fan of the overall look here.

-Lexus, to say that the reason you wouldn't buy Hyundai or Kia is because their designs lack originality, is just a bogus comment. Look at the car as a whole...I can't say that I would mistake it for a Saab, Lexus or Audi. If you don't like the car, then let that be your point for not considering it as a viable option for you.

Didn't Kia's lead designer come from Audi? I do remember reading that somewhere...

Actually, that chrome spear on the side appear on the Lexus GS and LS back in 2006 for 2007 model year. And now everyone copying it.

lol so lexus took the chrome side strip off of the cadillac deville which had it from 1956-1999 lol.

This car has been out in some counties for almost a year now... Just google cadenza and you will see everything you want to see about the car. The interior is very nice, especially for the price range.

You can also see many videos of the car on Youtube. They have had dealer videos as well as company promotional videos of the car for months now just like the upcoming Hyundai counterpart, the next Hyundai Azera here in the states, called something else in other parts. But you can see both upcoming cars on Youtube.

The Kia Cadenza's headlights didn't copy no Chrysler. After all, where was the Chrysler 200 when the Kia KND-4 concept arrived huh?
