The Denali versions already cost a fortune, doesn't make sense when the economy is down and gas is up. Now they just blur the line between GMC and Cadillac. I guess that's why they went bankrupt.

have to agree with Joe not a bad ideal to go upscale there are many different ways to separate GMC from Chevy and maybe add a few more models to the line up as well. GMC has a following of it's own Cadillac's Escalade soon will be much smaller i dont understand all the GM bashing.

I thought GMC's motto was "we are professional grade", which clearly implies "heavy duty" and over engineered for the worst. So GMC is moving from construction sites to the suburbs? WORST marketing decision ever.

As others have said, they just got rid of Buick and now they have GMC to take its place... between Chevy and Caddy. UGH... GMC was doing fine marketing itself to hardcore truck lovers, take on the Land Rovers and Landcruisers of the world. Stupid stupid dilution of a great niche.

GMC is more distanced from chev than it has ever been. Not too long ago there was no difference between the two at all except for the GMC badge. GMC is already more upscale, move it up anymore and you start treading into Escalade territory, which leaves only the stupid uninformed naive buyers that actually think an Escalade is a Cadillac and shares instead of re-badged GM trucks.
