If you don't recall, it was only so long ago that Oprah said that every single one of her 275 audience members would receive a nice, little gift. No, it wasn't another round of Pontiacs. This time Oprah gave away 275 2012 Volkswagen Beetles.

But we hadn't seen her actually give one away until now.

Now that the 2012 Beetle is out from hiding, the car could receive its time in the spotlight.


Last November, Oprah Winfrey gave us our first tease of the spanking new 2012 Volkswagen Beetle during one of her daily shows by revealing the car’s silhouette. Now, being that the show reaches millions of American viewers, and as everybody knows, Oprah has that special Midas touch when it comes to promoting products; Volkswagen had no problem to donate a brand new 2012 Beetle to each of the 275 audience members...
