lol this lacks all practicality. Two doors, heavier then a car, folding top takes up trunk space.

You seem to miss my point. Cross overs are supposed to be the "practical" alternative to already practical suv's. By providing more space then a car, while spending less fuel then a full sized suv. This thing has the same space if not less then a car, and due to it's size will use more gas as well.

Practicality is not all about hauling stuff, but about fitting the buyer's needs. In theory, you could design a two-door with the same amount of space as a four-door, but that wouldn't make the two-door equally practical to all. In general, I don't care for cross-overs or convertibles, but I'm beginning to understand why some people find these vehicles practical. A very tall (and large) friend of mine and my wife hate my A4 because, they say, it's hard to get out of because it's so low. I have the feeling these cars exist because they provide car-like styling with more practical ingress and egress for people who have the need.

Nissan may be on to something and if so, Audi can capitalize by being the first luxury manufacturer entry into that segment. SMart move if you ask me.
