STUD or DUD: Has An Aftermarket Tuner FINALLY Done The Porsche Panamera Justice?

STUD or DUD: Has An Aftermarket Tuner FINALLY Done The Porsche Panamera Justice?
Arguably one of the most polarizing designs in the automotive realm, the Porsche Panamera has been chastised since day one. Being the brand's first four-door car -- not sport-utility vehicle -- meant that it was going to take a lot of heat.

Given that its rear end isn't widely regarded as the most pleasant thing to look at, it didn't get much better when some aftermarket tuners decided to enhance it further. In some cases it drew more negative attention, in fact, that was most cases.

001's favorite tuner -- Vorsteiner -- however, has shown its idea of the Panamera, and we want to know if it meets the Spies approval.

With that said, is Vorsteiner's Panamera looking like a STUD or a DUD?

The Panamera V-PT embodies Perfection Redefined. Steeped in tradition, Vorsteiner produces performance minded aerodynamics while maintaining the core of our company values. The V-PT aligns with the classic style associated with Porsche while transforming the Panamera to an aggressive state of mind. Functionality melds perfectly into the components of the V-PT to give your Panamera the edge you desire...

Not bad, definitely better than some tuners that go way over the top. I like the tailpipes.

It needs a surgeon to remove the hump on its back.

I really like the stock design, and normally with most cars, I don't like aftermarket renditions. However, this one works for me, stud.

I've said this many times before. Porsche could ease the look of the hump by simply extending the glass behind the C pillar and make it look a little more 911 like. The extension of glass would reduce the look of bulk.Really it's quite simple.
